Now here comes the boring...but absolutely necessary bit. Please find below our general terms and conditions for online purchasing on WHITE ISLE EMPORIUM

We've tried to make them as simple to read as possible, so sit back, nibble on some charcuterie and maybe pour yourself a Sangria while you read through.

Our Contract

Your customer contract with White Isle Emporium begins once your order has been placed and processed. We will confirm receipt of your order by sending you a 'order confirmation email' once the products are received by you the contract is complete. This website is owned and operated by White isle Emporium. These Terms set forth the terms and conditions under which you may use our website and services as offered by us. By accessing or using the website, you approve that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms.

Your Account

You can create a customer account with us through our website. Please ensure that all details provided are correct and kept up to date. If any details change please inform us immediately. We may permanently or temporarily terminate or suspend your access to this service without notice and liability for any reason, including if you violate any provision of these Terms or any applicable law or regulations. You may discontinue use and request to cancel your account and/or any services at any time.

 

Age Restrictions and Alcohol

In order to purchase alcohol you need to be 18 years of age or over. By placing an order containing alcohol you are confirming that you are at least 18 years of age. It is illegal to purchase restricted products if you are under age or for someone else under age.

Pricing and Promotions

The prices we charge for our products are listed on the website and include all applicable duty and VAT. All prices are in pound sterling. All payments are taken at the time the order is placed. We will not reserve or dispatch goods before payment is received. We reserve the right to change our prices for products displayed at any time without notice due to market fluctuations, changes to duty and other similar circumstances. We will correct pricing errors that may inadvertently occur. In the event a pricing error is made prior to purchase, we will notify you directly. We reserve the right to reject or cancel an order in these circumstances as we are not bound to obvious errors or mistakes. We also reserve the right to end promotions and offers, although we will indicate if the offer or promotion has a limited duration. 

All offers and promotions are subject to availability. If a product is out of stock despite appearing on the website we may cancel a confirmed order via email to the customer, and refund any payments made in respect of the order.

Product Descriptions and Specifications

We aim to ensure that all images and descriptions on our website are a fair representation of our products. We reserve the right to change images, descriptions and quantities on our website without prior notice. Please ensure that you read through all product descriptions carefully before placing an order as mistakes can't always be rectified.

Allergens Information 

All of the allergen information and Ingredients of each product is listed in the description.  Please read carefully before placing an order. If you require further information or need to ask us any questions please email us at whiteisle21@gmail.com. As most of our products come from different manufacturers and producers we also advise all our customers to check the labels on the goods upon receipt.

Shelf Life

Shelf life and storage instructions are listed within the product descriptions. All products show best before dates on their packaging. 

Returns

If you receive any of our products and they are damaged or spoiled, please accept the delivery and contact us within 48 hours. Accepting a damaged delivery does not affect your rights. If you refuse delivery it may be disposed of by the courier. Please where possible take photographs to show us the damage. If in the rare event you receive the wrong item please let us know as soon as you receive it and we will organise the correct item to be sent out to you.

Pre-Orders

Occasionally some of our products may be available to Pre Order. In this case we will ask for payment for goods upfront and advise of a timeframe in which they will be delivered. 

Promotional emails and content

You agree to receive from time to time promotional messages and materials from us, by mail, email or any other contact form you may provide us with (including your phone number for calls or text messages). If you don't want to receive such promotional materials or notices – please notify us at any time at whiteisle21@gmail.com

Ownership of intellectual property, copyrights and logos

The Service and all materials therein or transferred thereby, including, without limitation, software, images, text, graphics, logos, patents, trademarks, service marks, copyrights, photographs, audio, videos, music and all Intellectual Property Rights related thereto, are the exclusive property of White Isle Emporium.
